Eiken auf dem SPCI-XIII (International Symposium on the Science and Processing of Cast Iron) in Krakau die neuesten Fortschritte aus dem DFG-Projekt \u201e3-D Gusseisen\u201c. Durch die Weiterentwicklung der hauseigenen Software Micress\u00ae ist es nun erstmals m\u00f6glich, die gesamte Gef\u00fcgeentwicklung von ferritischem Gusseisen mit Kugelgraphit vom Abguss bis zur Raumtemperatur abzubilden. Erg\u00e4nzt wurde der Vortrag durch eine Untersuchung der elastisch-mechanischen Werkstoffeigenschaften, die im Rahmen der Masterarbeit unseres neuen Kollegen R. Nellissery, mit der ebenfalls bei Access entwickelten Software Homat, durchgef\u00fchrt wurde. Neben dem wissenschaftlichen Programm fand auch eine Exkursion in das Salzbergwerk Wieliczka statt.
